WOW, did Rancho Rosal Families show up in January! Our short month was packed with excitement and FUTURE fun! Shortly after we returned from Winter Break, the APEX coaches arrived on campus, bringing their signature energy, FUTURE-focused motivational lessons, fun prizes, and a message of recognizing our own individual greatness.

After two weeks of fundraising, our Stallions gave it their all at the FUN RUN, and thanks to your incredible support, we raised over $40,000 for our PTA! Your generosity and willingness to spread the word mean so much to our school community. A huge thank you to Kelley Fields and her team for organizing such a successful event!

Remember, successful fundraisers make amazing programs possible. Because of your support, our PTA is proud to fund Read Across America, Ceramics with Grandma Judy, the Honorary Service Awards, and year-round PE with the YMCA. Thank you for making a difference!

Honorary Service Awards

Each spring, the Camarillo Council of PTA hosts the Honorary Service Awards ceremony, celebrating those who go above and beyond for our students and school community. This is a wonderful opportunity to recognize dedicated volunteers, teachers, staff, or businesses that have made a meaningful impact.

Nomination forms will be available soon, so start thinking about who you would like to acknowledge for this special honor!

Celebrating Women in History

This March, we’re excited to celebrate Women in History with a special project led by Mrs. Taminich. She’s been working with a select group of talented 5th-grade girls who will portray historical women and share their stories through performances. These performances will be open to classes, allowing students to learn about these incredible women and their contributions to history.

We are looking for props and costumes to help bring these performances to life. If you’re interested in supporting this project, please check out our signup for donations below.

READY, SET, READ ACROSS AMERICA

Rancho Rosal celebrates literacy!

Read Across America is coming to the Ranch March 3rd - March 7th.

This will be a fun week filled with interactive literacy activities, spirit dress up days and special guest readers! Mark your calendars for this week of reading activities:

Monday: Read about an influential athlete and wear something to represent your favorite sport or sports team.

Tuesday: Cozy up with a good book and wear your PJs to school.

Wednesday: Read a silly story and wear a silly outfit.

Thursday: Dress to represent your family's culture, hometown or school spirit shirt.Read a book about a different culture!

Friday: Dress up as your favorite book character and bring that book to school.

WANT TO SKIP THE FUNDRAISERS?

We understand that fundraisers can be overwhelming, but without this support our Stallions will miss out on so many enrichment programs.

Sadly, todays school curriculum does not include many of the programs we grew up loving. PE is once a week - coached by the YMCA and paid for by the PTA. Art and Ceramics are typically provided by an outside organization and paid for by the PTA. Science Fair, Field Trips, the School Library, Playground Equipment, Classroom manipulatives, specific supplies and some class reading books are also paid for by the PTA. We also support most Assemblies, after-school Family Events and Teacher Appreciation Week Events.

This is just a short list of how funding is used, so we appreciate all support from any fundraiser. We are also sensitive to the idea that you or your student do not want to sell cards, candy or ask for sponsors. Some students LOVE the challenge, the interaction and the prizes! If your family would prefer to make a direct donation, please do so via our website and the link below. You can find the DONATE option on our SHOP page.

Please note that any direct donations will not remove you from "A List" and your child will still receive fundraising materials.
